Onions – rich in vitamins and antioxidants

I’ve made onion jam a couple of times and each time I make it it rocks my world and the dishes I create! Here, I added onion jam on top of seasoned quinoa with a side of sauteed broccoli.

Along with tasting great, onion jam is a also great resource of nutrients:

  • Onions contain iron, phosphorus and vitamin E, helping us maintain and make red blood cells.
  • Onions are a great source of vitamin B and magnesium.
  • Packed with vitamins A and C, onions provide antioxidants and strengthen the immune system.
